If you are arranging a working holiday, we can organise assignments to fit in with your travel itinerary. For example you may wish to arrive in Sydney, the unofficial capital of Australia and home to the last Summer Olympics in 2000.

Sydney has a variety of health institutions, including internationally recognised teaching hospitals and well-respected private hospitals where you can utilise your skills. In your time off, visit the beautiful Sydney Harbour and spend time at the world-renowned Manly and Bondi beaches.

You may want to continue your travel by heading north to Queensland, visiting cities such as Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, to take advantage of the perfect weather and outstanding tourist destinations.

If you want to learn about Australia's Aboriginal culture and see some unique flora and fauna, then the Northern Territory is one of the best places to visit. From the capital of Darwin you can travel to destinations such as Kakadu National Park, Katherine Gorge and Uluru (Ayers Rock).

If you head south you'll find yourself in South Australia, a state famous for its wine regions of the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and the Southern Vales. Spend some time in the state's capital Adelaide, enjoying the relaxed lifestyle and excellent restaurants.

Wherever you want to go, NAA can accommodate your travelling schedule. Similarly, you can choose the areas of nursing you want to work in, from ICU, to mental health, aged care, and midwifery. Australia is proud of its world-class health system, with a good public hospital system supported by a buoyant private hospital system.
