Our first requirement is an up to date copy of your curriculum vitae, along with the names and contact details of referees from your most recent workplaces.

You will also need to provide us with a copy of your current passport, including your Visa to work in Australia and a Statement of Service, which will enables us to work out what year level to pay you. This statement can be obtained from your workplace and needs to state the hours worked during your term of employment.

You will need to seek registration with the Nurse Registration Board. While each state of Australia has its own Nurses Board, reciprocal registration that allows you to work throughout the country can be obtained. NAA staff will happily assist you with registration matters and provide all the relevant information.

Please note the NSW Government have strict vaccination requirements effective from 1st of May 2008, if you already meet these requirements please make sure you bring the evidence with you when you travel (NSW Vaccination requirements)

If you are considering working in Australia for an extended period under Department of Immigration sponsorship arrangements, please indicate this intention to us in your initial contact. As a Government approved sponsor, NAA can assist in this area.

Once you have finalised your travel itinerary, advise us of your arrival time in either Sydney or Adelaide and we will arrange for you to visit NAA for an initial interview and orientation.
