Nursing Agency Australia
where choice is as wide as the country
itself
Agency nursing allows you to work in a profession you love
but puts
you in control. You choose when, where and how often you work. And you
plan your working shifts to suit you and your lifestyle.
Thats the way it has always been at Nursing Agency Australia (NAA).
And thats the way it will remain.

The NAA Story
One of Australias leading national nursing placement agencies, Nursing
Agency Australia dates back to 1973 when a nursing and aged care placement
agency committed to understanding the individual needs of nurses and clients
and then responding to them in a professional manner opened
its doors.
This approach has seen the company grow to the point where it provides
over 400 health care and related organisations with professional and flexible
nursing staff, drawn from its multi-skilled workforce of more than 2500
registered nurses, enrolled nurses, care workers and patient service assistants.
We offer both short and long-term placements at a wide variety of health
care facilities in the major cities, in rural and coastal Australia, and
in the most remote Outback settings.
The number and array of healthcare clients means that our nurses and care
workers enjoy an unparalleled choice of work locations and areas of specialisation.
NAA
and You Sponsorships and Working Holidays
NAA is constantly on the lookout for Registered Nurses from around the
world interested in experiencing Australia while working on either a full
time (sponsored) or part time (holiday) basis.
In the case of the sponsored one-year (renewable) working visa, we are
an Australian Government approved sponsoring organisation. This allows
us to offer 12-month sponsorships to overseas Registered Nurses who wish
to work in Australia and who satisfy minimum requirements.
These are that the nurse works on a full-time basis for the duration of
the sponsorship and is in possession of nursing qualifications recognised
by Australias Nurse Registration Board.
The sponsorship is renewable to a maximum of four years.
Registered Nurses interested in working shifts while holidaying around
the country will require a valid passport and working visa, along with
qualifications recognised by Australias Nurse Registration Board.
In both cases, overseas nurses need to register with a Nurses Board in
one of Australias states (NAA will advise and provide forms), after
which nationwide reciprocity allows nurses to work throughout the country.
Sponsored or working holiday nurses can also choose to work in major teaching
hospitals, leading private hospitals, rural and remote clinics, mental
health establishments, and aged and extended care facilities.
