Australian applicants can apply to join NAA over the telephone.

Please call 1300 300 522 and ask for the Recruitment Officer.

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Personal contact details
  • Work history for the last five to ten years
  • Contact details for a verbal reference from a Clinical Nurse Manager, Manager or Director of Nursing

Once your application has been processed you will learn if you have been successful. You will then be invited to attend an Orientation Session at either NAA's Adelaide office or one of its Sydney branches. Interstate applicants will have alternative orientation arrangements made for them.

Orientation is an informative session for new staff members to meet the team at NAA. You will also learn more about:

  • OH&S expectations,
  • Structure of agency work
  • Uniforms
  • Rural and remote placement
  • Staff payments
  • access to ongoing education
